Thickness: LCD due to the existence of the backlight layer and the liquid crystal layer, its thickness is much thicker than OLED, so OLED screen is very easy to make the phone or display thin, no impact on the display, for the phone is a qualitative leap, thinner screen allows you to plug more components to enhance the experience of other parts.

Bendability: LCD displays can't bend because of the LCD and backlight layers, while OLED screens can fold almost as easily as origami. Samsung's curved screens use OLED technology. The thing to note here is that this is a big bend. The curved screen on the desktop is still an LCD screen. As you can see, there's not a lot of bending. It folds in half like a piece of paper.

Color: Contrast is the ratio of white to black. The higher the contrast, the more intense the color. Because the LCD has a backlight layer, the black is not pure black, so the contrast is difficult to high. Organic LED black does not emit light, so some pixels in the black area can be turned off directly. At this point black is almost zero, so the theoretical contrast can be said to be infinite. Individual lighting: When the LCD is turned on, the entire backlight layer is turned on, so the LCD is either on or off, and each pixel of the organic light-emitting diode is independent, so the organic light-emitting diode can illuminate a part of the pixel separately. Using this feature, you can achieve a very convenient function - display at any time. When the screen is turned off, the low brightness lights up a few pixels to display the time, light and notifications, so the Samsung phone can know what app is without opening the screen.
